Complete LED kit of flexible LED ribbon tape lights with wifi controller and power supply. Ribbon lights are double encapsulated silicon which ensure best protection from weather and prevent yellowing from exposure to UV.
The lights are made with LED chips that have red, blue, green and white combined into one LED chip. For application where having proper warm white (~2700K) light is important. This kit includes 16.4 feet of lights along with all the needed parts to make a linear run of 16.4ft. It can also be cut in the middle to provide 2 sections of light. Connectors are provided for terminating both ends. Light can be cut at 4 inch cut-marks. Proper sealing must be done on the blunt ends to prevent exposure to elements.
Because of the silicon coverings the outdoor rated ribbons are not well suited for cutting into several small sections and terminating with wires. It is best to only cut into 2 segments and use the wire leads that have been provided. More reels can be purchased for larger systems. NOTE: Power supply must be upgraded to handle the power requirement. Each additional light reel will need 100W more power. Controller will be able to power maximum four reels in parallel, or parallel+series. Contact Cyron staff if not sure.
Cyron outdoor ribbon lights are provided with genuine 3M two-side tape on the back of the lights. However, this tape is not meant as a permanent installation for outdoor lights. It is meant to keep the lights in place long enough so other types of adhesive or mounting brackets can be applied.
